Cummins and Edith Alexander Hurst; his child Massaleen DaSilva Cummins; his former wife Vera Benjamin Cummins; his significant other Barbara Jones; his uncle Monzie Alexander; his stepmother Mavalon Cummins; his sister-in-law Nancy Cummins; and his sons, Reynold Cummins and Maczell Cummins.
He is survived by: his children, Elizabeth P. Cummins, Ann T. Cummins, Russell F. Cummins and Dudley W. Cummins (Joan); his grandchildren, Justin and Maceo Cummins of Pembroke Pines, Florida; his adoptive daughters, Ynka Campbell of Ontario and Veronica Greene of Brooklyn; his siblings, Anderson Cummins and Euis Cummins Trotman of Brooklyn, NY; and his nieces and nephews, Kimberly, Hope, Casey, Malcolm and Jonathan. He is also survived by cousins, extended families and friends.
