He is survived by: his wife Gloria Batiste; his children, Joshua Batiste (Evelyn), Jonathan Batiste, Brian Armstrong, Rosemary "Lucie" Gobert (Perry), Elise Batiste and Jessica Batiste; his stepdaughters, Zoe Claiborne and Chloe Claiborne; his stepgrandchildren, Armani Claiborne, Kymani Claiborne, Zaria Conaway and Cataleya Webb; and the mother of his children Melinda Conner. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
