It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sandra L. McDaniel of Port Arthur, Texas, who passed away on April 14, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Van; her parents, George Whitley and Bessie Frances "Fran" Davis; and her brother George Whitley Davis III. She is survived by: her daughters, DeEdria Bourgeois (Leo) of Katy, Texas and LaToya Stokes (Alvin) of Katy, Texas; her grandchildren, Bre'Onna McDaniel, Amber Bourgeois and Van Bourgeois; and her sisters, Dr. Madelyn Hunt (Travis) of Washington and Vivian Ballou (Jesse) of Port Arthur, Texas. She is also survived by in-laws, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Sandra McDaniel's name to Sam Houston Elementary School.
