Samuel Covington Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Samuel Covington (Port Arthur, Texas), who passed away on June 28, 2018 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Marga; his parents, Benjamin and Carolyn; his brother Delton Covington; and his great grandchild Tyrell Sonnier.
He is survived by: his children, Sam, Aaron Covington of Nederland, Diane McKee (Don) of Corpus Christi, Marc, Roger and Lauri Grantham (Gary) of Russellville; his brother Gordon Covington; his grandsons, Samuel Paul Covington, John Covington, Caleb Covington, Cameron Covington and Brandon McKee; his great grandchild Zack Covington; and also, Port Arthur and Yellow Jacket. He is also survived by grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and a healthy leavening of cousins, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, persons wishing to make a donation to the Hope Women's Resource Clinic, located at 3740 Laurel in Beaumont, Texas are encouraged to do so.
