She is survived by: her sister Armandina Garcia; her son John Sassine; her daughter-in-law Janice Sassine; and her granddaughters, Amber Villarreal (Rene), Carol Meaux (Charles), Kelli Hartman (Kody) and Joni Sassine. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
