He is survived by: his children, Vernall Windon, Virgil Ned, Roosevelt Ned, Jr., Nathan Andre Hawkins and Roshawndra Nicole Ned (Nikki); and his siblings, Benjamin Ned (Ruby) of Lake Charles, LA, Harold Ned (Mary Alice), David Ned (Irma) of Houston, TX, Herbert Ned (Rutha) of Port Arthur, TX, Catherine Pete and Margaret Jackson. He is also survived by grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; and a host other relatives and friends.
