He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Broxton and Joann Cole Broxton; the mother of his children Lou Ethel Broxton; his son Curtis Broxton; and his siblings, Dorothy Scott, Emma Reed, Oliver, Mack Arthur, Harry, Huey, Garner and Leanders Broxton.
He is survived by: his former spouse Lou Ethel Sowell; his wife Patricia Warren; his children, Lurline Taylor of Port Arthur, Vanessa Dortch of Portland, Oregon and Roosevelt Broxton, Jr. of Port Arthur; his stepchildren, Krystal Whitley of Port Arthur, Toya Paris of Mount Bellevue, TX and Pierre Williams of Port Arthur; and his brother Larry Broxton.
