He was predeceased by: his parents, Rayfield Gordon and Lillian Henderson Gordon; his stepmother Rose Gordon; his siblings, Ray Sr., Robert, Richard, Raymond Gordon, Sylvia Wilson, Gloria Smith, Goldie Gordon, Geraldine Jones and Ollie Gordon Mack; and his goddaughter Ashely Gordon.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Chaney of Jennings, LA; his son Calvin Wayne Gordon of Fort Worth, TX; and his stepson Terrance Chaney of Dallas, TX. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, many cousins, one goddaughter, and a host of friends.
