She was predeceased by: her husband Cleveland Stevens; her grandparents, Robert Sr. and Eunice Nelson; her great-grandparents, Niecy Allen, Paul and Edna Jaco; her uncles, Samuel Sims Sr., Charles Sims Jr., Chris Jaco, Charles Nelson and Wayne Nelson; her godparents, Charles and Emily Joseph; and her mother-in-law Mary Gallion.
She is survived by: her parent Pamela Nelson; her daughter Clevonna Stevens; her granddaughter Daleigh McMillan; her grandmother Mary Lavalais; her siblings, Shaunquina Brown, Eunesha Pitre and Minister Robert Nelson III (Karenton); her nephew Dylan; her niece Paisley; her aunts, Camille Singleton (Joseph), Ruth Medina (Jamie), Shelia Nelson, Lydia Nelson and Carolyn Babineaux; her godchild Cameron Reynolds; her son Ashton Carter; and her sisters-in-law, Melissa and Anitra. She is also survived by family members, friends and coworkers.
