He was predeceased by: his wife Martha Lee Womble; and his sister Gloria Jean McDuffy. He is survived by: his children, Theresa Renea Broussard and Robert S. Womble III (Honey Womble); his grandchildren, Keith Broussard (Alysia Broussard), Zachery Broussard, Stephanie Miles, Charlie Womble and Elizabeth Womble; and his great grandchildren, Crystal, Eleanor, Memphis and Samuel.
