He is survived by: his wife Juanita Benoit Lee of Port Arthur; his children, Belinda Root (Miles) of Houston, Tessy Cryer (Greg) of Kountze, Tina Benoit of Groves, Darrell Lee (Yami) of Houston and Rusty Benoit of Groves; his sisters, Vada Thomas of Branson, MO and Joan Boykin of Sulphur, LA; his grandchildren, Jamie Lee, Jason Root, Ryan Lee, Jesse Benoit, Jake Benoit, Ashley McIntire, Morgan Lee, Lacey Simon and Mindy Hickman; and his great grandchildren, Owen McIntire, Sophia "Pia" Simon, Sadie Simon and Carter Hickman.
