We are sad to announce that on September 19, 2022, at the age of 76, Robert Freddie Simpson Sr. of Port Arthur, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gabe Hernon and Abanitta Simpson; his son Robert Alexander-Simpson Jr.; his uncle Wilbert Simpson; his nephews, Rodney Iles Jr., Scharonn and Cole; and his grandson Matthew Demerson.
He is survived by: his siblings, Charlene Iles, Linda Adams (Ben), Douglas Woods (Brenda), Glenn Woods (Mildred) and James Hernon; his children, Jeanette Simpson-Williams (Victor), Rodney Simpson, Fawn Chambers (Charles), Laquinta Carter-Simon, Falishea Charles-Babers (William), Myisha Simpson, Ebony Simpson, Clevon Harmanson, Iyisha Simpson and Inyisha Lowe; and his close friend Carolyn Paul. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
