It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Byrd (Port Arthur, Texas), who passed away on September 21, 2018, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Erma Jean Byrd-Martin and Robert Collins of Laurel. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Harris-Byrd; his children, Sharonda Harris, Zeffon Alexander and Reginald Harris; and his mother-in-law Mary E. Smith of Port Arthur, TX. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; four sisters; one brother, five brothers-in-law, four sisters-in-law; one godchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
