He was predeceased by: his parents, Antonio Zapata and Blasa Torres Zapata; and his siblings, Juan Zapata, Hector Zapata, Chano Zapata, Valentin Zapata and Florinda.
He is survived by: his wife Irma Guadalupe Zapata of Port Arthur; his children, Ruben Zapata (Susana) of Port Arthur and Leticia Martinez (Rocky) of Beaumont; his sister Sofia Escobedo of Charlotte, TX.; his grandchildren, Alejandra, Fernando, Gabriella, Tres and Dominic; and his great grandchild Lilliana.
Due to the Covid-19 crisis we are currently in, all visitors to the funeral home are required to wear facemask or coverings and practice social distancing.
