He is survived by: his wife Annabelle Lavergne; his daughter Sheila Dejohn; and his grandchildren, Brandy Corner, Kris Sandoval, Bubba Totten, Josh Patterson, Gerald Lavergne, Jr., Kyle Sanders and Kory Sanders. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
