She was predeceased by: her husband Tom Milo Jr.; her son Joseph Ronnie Sam; her parents, Simon Broussard and Azema Broussard; her siblings, Wilfred Broussard, Alfred Broussard Sr., Semonia Taylor, Corita Thomas, Ezola Mayfield and Alice Greene; and her daughter-in-law Edna Mae Sam.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Felicia Sam of Port Arthur, TX, Bryant Sam (Lavonne) of Houston, TX and Jassa Jones of Port Arthur, TX; her great grandchildren, Kenneth Vaughn Jr., LaShanda Tolliver (Courtney), Timothy Sam I, Cortland Sam, Darius McMahone, Brittney Gloston and Bryant Gloston Jr.; her great great grandchildren, Sebastian Stone Sam and Timothy Sam II; her sister Lovonia Broussard of San Diego, CA; her granddaughter Greta Coles; and her godchildren, Sonya Brooks, Carol Simpson and Jason Payne. She is also survived by nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
