He was predeceased by: his parents, Odell Sr. Johnson and Clara Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Gail; his children, Autumn and Odell III; his children-in-law, James and Sarah; his grandchildren, Reese, Chelsea and Preston; and his brother Jesse. He is also survived by cousins and friends.

Due to COVID-19 regulations the family will have a private service and burial.
