He was predeceased by: his father Lewis Gilmore Holmes, Sr.. He is survived by: his mother Joann Jones; his wife Elvina Holmes; his children, Nathan Holmes, Jr. (Shamyra), Natalie Taylor (Beau) and Nacole Cormier (Trevor); his siblings, Joyce Thomas (Landy), Lewis Holmes, Sr. (Julie), Raymond Holmes, Bobby Holmes, Sr. (Ingrid), Michael Johnson, Gerald Johnson, Billy Johnson and Kevin Johnson; his mother-in-law Dorothy Solomon; and his sister-in-law Margaret Lofton. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; ten great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Gabriel Funeral Home Chapel (3800 Memorial Blvd, Port Arthur, TX 77642). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
