She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Thibodeaux and Rhena Thibodeaux; her husband George Turpeau; her cousin Maizel "Tonoon" Mitchell; her siblings, Leonard (Mildred Thibodeaux) and Dorothy Thibodeaux Francois; her sister-in-law Madeline Turpeau Wyche; her extended family Anna Turpeau Johnson; her son-in-law Gordon Theall; and her grandson Christopher Leron Theall.
She is survived by: her daughters, Carolyn Theall of Port Arthur, Texas, Brenda DeBlanc of Port Arthur, Texas and Darlene Dixon (Felton) of Port Arthur, Texas; her niece Marilyn Anthony of St. Martinville, Louisiana; and her grandchildren, Dawn Jones (Previn), Alisha Theall, Amber Theall (Vince), Andre Brown (Binti), Andrea Brown, Brittanie DeBlanc, Bridget Theall, Jennifer DeBlanc and Maraya Dixon. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren, and a host of relatives and friends.
