With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mattie Banks of Port Arthur, Texas, who passed away on April 26, 2023 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Orelia Edwards and Wilbert Banks; her stepmother Joyce Banks; and her siblings, Pat, Pearla Edwards, Albert Sr., Samuel and Richard Banks.
She is survived by: her children, Kendrick, Albert Banks Jr. and Angela Thomas; and her siblings, Mary Banks, Wilma Banks, Wilbert Banks Jr., Carson Banks and Wilbert Green. She is also survived by five grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great-nephews and friends.
