He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Louise Guillory Lewis and Melvin Adams; his stepfather Morgan Lewis; his siblings, Ethel Mae Thomas, Debra Ardoin and Arston Adams; his grandparents, Laura Guillory and Arville Guillory; and his aunts, Ollie Reece Wilson, Hazel Zachary, Flora Stephenson, Eldrina Brandon and Evertta Mundy.
He is survived by: his son Mason Adams Jr. "Boobie"; his brother Andrew L. Jacobs; his brother-in-law Samuel Thomas, Sr. of Port Arthur, Texas; his cousin Emery Gallow, Jr.; his goddaughter Sarah Hall; his nephews, Daniel Ray Guillory, Donald Ray Adams, Samuel Thomas Jr. of Port Arthur and Ivy Adams; and his aunts, Georgiana Brown of Austin, Pearly Gallow and Edith Taylor of Port Arthur, Texas. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Salem Missionary Baptist Church (1601 6th St, Port Arthur, TX 77640). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
