He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Sidney, Myrtle Martin, Herbert, Sr. and Verna Mitchell. He is survived by: his parents, Freda Martin-Jenkins (Elgin) and Herbert Mitchell, Jr.; and his spouse Keshia Rodgers Martin. He is also survived by his sister and brothers; being more than an uncle to his nieces and nephews; treated like a son by his aunts and uncles and was more like a brother to his cousins and friends.
