She was predeceased by: her daughter Jacqueline Sloan Joe; and her grandsons, Anthony Sloan and Corey Williams. She is survived by: her daughter Peggy Sloan of Port Arthur, TX; her sisters, Idell Dennis of Port Arthur, TX and Jeanette Perkins of Baton Rouge, LA; her grandchildren, Ronnie Joe of Houston, TX, LaShonda Sloan of Baytown, TX, Lakresha Joe and Michelle Hickey (Kino) of Temple, TX; and her great grandchildren, Daija Joe of Port Arthur, TX, Jerel Taylor, Jerelmiah Taylor, Amir Hickey, Aśhlea Hickey, Brycen Gardiner, Ronnie Joe and Zaniya Joe.
