He was predeceased by: his father Jorge Contreras. He is survived by: his mother Velia Loredo Contreras of Nuevo Laredo; and his brothers, Jorge Contreras, Jr. of Laredo, Julio Contreras of Port Arthur, Tony Contreras of Port Arthur and Saul Contreras of Nuevo Laredo. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, cousins.
