She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Earl Morris and Stella Mae Odom Morris; her siblings, Nina Crutchfield and Raymond Earl Morris; her children, Stacy Alexander of Port Arthur, TX, Richard Newsom of Port Arthur, TX and Lonnie Newsom of Port Arthur, TX; her sisters, Cherry Moss of Buna, TX and June Sawyer (Henry) of Spurger, TX; and her grandchildren, Terry Alexander, Jr., Jeremy Alexander, Travis Newsom and Caleb Newsom.

To honor Linda, the family is planning memorial services for a later date, due to Covid 19.
