It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lester Wayne Simpson of Port Arthur, Texas, who passed away on April 7, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Guy Simpson and Ellis Leola Tibbits Simpson; his wife Bonnie Lee Simpson; and his siblings, Gerald Simpson, Harold Simpson, Leon Simpson, Helen Die and Sandra Bates.

He is survived by: his children, Bonnie Sue Stelly (Barry) of Groves, TX, Tami Dauterive (Carl) of Port Arthur, TX, Molly Stricklin (Jeff) of Lake Charles, LA, Cherie Kaltenbach (Dave) of Plano, TX. and Butch Simpson (Cheryl) of Cleveland, TX.. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and thirty one great grandchildren.

“i have known Mr. Simpson & his late wife Bonnie, for years, as they live down the street from us, it was my daughter Cindy May Walker who knew him well. I know his daughter Cherie the best as she & my daughter Cindy were always Best Friends. We will all be in Houston for my Grandsons Wedding, & regret i cannot make the Visitation. My heartfelt sympathy for all bis family. I know he was a Godly Man, & he is with his Lord Jesus now. Sincerely, Pat May”
