He was predeceased by: his sisters, Shirley Provost and Gwenda LeDay Dixon; his brothers-in-law, Alcee Coleman and Wallace Provost; his nephew Carl Gray; his great-niece Jasmine Lorthridge; and his great-nephew Savion Lorthridge.

He is survived by: his wife Janice; his children, Trina Marie Bendy (Marlon) and Leonard Lee LeDay, Jr. (Victoria); his grandchildren, Lyric Como-LeDay, Italia Bendy, Julian LeDay, Kiara Veltz, Jasmine, Michael and Jada; and his siblings, Gus LeDay III (Audrey), Annie Daniels (Michael), Geraldine Coleman and Brenda Conner. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
