He is survived by: his father Anthony Afangide; his wife Jewell Lewis; his children, Wilbert Lewis of Houston, Vernice Bernard of Tyler, Cheryl Thompson and Angela Cooper; his sister Dorothy Lewis Collins of Beaumont, TX; and his siblings-in-law, Simmie McDaniel and Carol Lawrence. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
