He was predeceased by: his parents, Irven Joseph Walker, Sr. and Emelie Provost Walker; his brothers, Irven Jr. and Byron; and his siblings-in-law, Gayle Guidry Walker and Richard Cole.

He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Vera Walker; his children, Bradley (Kim Walker), Keith (Cindy Walker), Kirk (Lorrie Walker), Belinda (Greg Roccaforte), Brett (Wendi Walker) and Troy (Lisa Walker); his grandchildren, Megan (Daniel Doll), Corey DeRutte, Sarah Smith, Thomas Roccaforte, Zachary (Zoe Roccaforte), Jennifer DuPlessis, Mackenzie (Tanner Bailey), Morgan (Enrique Gonzalez), Madison (David Detz), Marek Walker, Alec (Kelsey Walker) and Alyse Walker; his great grandchildren, Houston, Hallie, Camille DuPlessis, Walker, Wylder Bailey, Harrison Gonzalez, Evelyn, David "Tripp" Detz, Amma, Henry Walker and May Roccaforte; and his siblings, Diann Cole, Lowell (Sheila Walker), Gregory (Tenna Walker), Bernadette (John Cascio) and Delia Walker (Janet Walker).
