He was predeceased by: his father Sweeney Paul Richard. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Richard of Groves; his mother Velta Richard of Port Arthur; his sons, Kirk Richard of Nederland, Chad Richard (Susan) of Nederland, Shannon Richard (Denise) of Beaumont, Spence Richard (Joy) of Lumberton, Chance Richard of Lumberton, Kyle Trahan of Port Neches and Kory Knapp (Amber) of Tomball; and his siblings, Willard Richard (Becky) of Tooele, Gary Richard (Kim) of Mauriceville, Diane Ray of Bridge City, Glenda Valentine of Nederland and Charlette Richard of Nederland. He is also survived by grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
