It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Katherine Elmore Lewis (Port Arthur, Texas), who passed away on February 15, 2019, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Clifton Lewis; her sisters, Lee Etta Sanders and Glenda Washington; and her niece Cherel Sanders-Smiley. She is survived by: her sons, Clifton Ray Lewis (Madeline) and Dana G. Lewis; her siblings, Herman Elmore, Lawrence Elmore (Bernadine) and Lana Jones; and her nieces, Jane Yowman and Crystal Thierry. She is also survived by six grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
