She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucille Wade Buckles and William Buckles; her husband Wilmer "Zu" Viator; and her son Richard Comisky. She is survived by: her children, Anthony Nomura II, Craig Comisky, Patricia Short, Ruthie Lee, Toni Nomura and Dennise Shaffer Walker. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
