She was predeceased by: her parents, Helen Tampa and Nelson Tampa; her sister Cynthia Landor Booth; and her great grandchildren, Cody and Jaxon Chatman.
She is survived by: her sister Laurena Landor Cole; her children, Deborah Adams Chatman (Jack), Toni Adams, Katina Adams Armstrong (Alvin) and Nathan Adams III (Patricia); her grandchildren, Keba Randals (Kerry Sr.), Jack Chatman III (Tynitsha), Byron Pete, Jr., Taryn and Terence Ellies, Jr.; her great grandchildren, Kayla, Kaci, Kerry, Randals, Jr., Alicia Pete, Koi Chatman and Harley Ellies; her granddaughter Ashley; and her cousin Stephanie Johnson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
