It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Weston Myers of Port Arthur, Texas, born in Lafayette, Louisiana, who passed away on February 27, 2022, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Weston Myers and Eula Mae Mouton Myers; his former wife Renda Jean Smith Myers; and his son-in-law Kim Theriot. He is survived by: his wife Blanca Myers of Port Arthur; his children, Joseph Myers (Dalia) of Deer Park, TX., Tammy Theriot of Port Arthur, Tabitha Stelly of Port Arthur and Rebecca Griffin (Joseph) of Nederland; his stepchildren, Julius Valentine and Anita Aguirre (Joe Jr.); and his siblings, Barbara Myers Ward of Atascosita, TX. and James Myers (Faye) of Yelm. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
