It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jose Angel Gamez Jr. of Port Arthur, Texas, who passed away on August 4, 2021, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jose Angel Gamez Sr. and Fidencia Sifuentes Gamez; his sons, Andrew Gamez and Brandon Gamez of Port Arthur; his stepdaughter Nicole Myers (Matt) of Phillipsburg, Pennsylvania; and his sisters, Millie Wilburn of Corpus Christi, Sajauna Garcia of Dayton, Esther Lopez of Mont Belvieu, Anita Lavarreda of Mesquite and Adelina Gonzales of Corpus Christi.
