He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert J. Sr. Fontnette and Willie Mae Fontnette; his siblings, Michelle Renee Fontnette and James Peter Fontnette; his stepdaughter Telena Cooper; his grandparents, John, Stennie Fontnette and Julia Pierfax; and the mother of his child Anna M. Hillman.
He is survived by: his children, Gwendolyn F. King and Amos King; his stepchildren, Amber Fontnette and Marquise Sinegal; his son Jeremy Cooper; his grandchildren, Natoria Ridley, Eric Ridley Jr., Ariel King, Azure Asbury, Eboni Fontnette, Ajani Coates, Diavionne Evans, Josiah Cooper, Stephanie Sinegal and JaCoby Sinegal; his siblings, Herbert J. Fontnette, Jr (Katherine), Madeline Belew, Sharon Joseph (Lynn), Julia Fontnette, Tammy Fontnette, Tracie Prudhomme (Michael) and Donna Anderson; and his aunts, Regina Tatum, Rita Bowden, Audrey Brown and Gloria Viney. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
