He was predeceased by: his parents, John Alfred DeRoche Sr. and Vivian Lucille DeRoche (Guidry); his children, Theresa Nannette Hayles and David Earl DeRoche; his daughter-in-law Donna Mitchell; his brother Floyd DeRoche; and his former wife Esther Weatherford DeRoche.
He is survived by: his wife Helen DeRoche; his children, Mary Deborah "Debbie" Kurts and Steven DeRoche; and his stepson Carey Lynn Mitchell. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
