He is survived by: his wife Lydia Hernandez; his children, Esperanza Hernandez and Juan Hernandez (Alexis Barajas); his grandsons, Julio C. Delgado II and Cesar J. Delgado; and his siblings, Ascension Hernandez (Berta), Rodrigo Hernandez (San Juanita), Sele Hernandez and Felipe Hernandez (Lupe). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
