He is survived by: his daughter Cheryl French (Reggie) of Groves, Texas; his daughter-in-law Gwendolyn Bailey of Port Arthur, Texas; his son Jeff Bailey (Chel) of Humble, Texas; his grandchildren, Kasey Bailey, Kinzi Broussard (Greg), Taylor Lazarus (Don Michael), Randa Sampere (Ryan), Justice Guidry, Alex Bailey and Cheyanne French; his great grandchild Damian; his grandchildren, Kaleb, Gage, Brylie, Cayden, Skylar and Jade; and his sisters, Louise Jones, Betty Lou Saunders, Janie Sue Nicotre, Dorothy Ann Elkins and Deborah Fugate.
When Doris became ill with Alzheimer's, Joe cared for her every day for her last fifteen years of life.
