She was predeceased by: her parents, Wesley "Jack" Brady and Emily Ruth Williams-Jenkins; her grandparents, Isabelle, Lee Virgin and Abner Williams, Sr.; her brother Tommie Lee Brady; her aunt Yvonne Terry; her uncles, Abner Williams, Jr. and Richard C. Williams; her niece Keisha Brady-Bolden; and her cousin Richelle Williams-Gipson.
She is survived by: her children, Emily Brady, JoQuesha James and John E. Galentine; her brothers, Dr. Glenn Mitchell, Sr. (Carol) and James Brady (Aleen); and her uncle Edgar Williams. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, two great-grandchildren.
