He is survived by: his father Rafael Cardenas Chavez of Cotija Michoacan, Mexico; his daughters, Veronica Ochoa of Groves, Texas, Olivia Colin of Groves, Texas, Roxanna Cardenas (Ramiro Cavazos) of Groves, Texas and Robbie Colin (Bruno Colin) of Groves, Texas; his grandchildren, Isabelle Colin, Jesse Colin Jr., Alex Ochoa, Sophia Ochoa, Vincent Cavazos, Emma Colin and Bruno Colin Jr.; and his siblings, Jose Cardenas, Rafael Cardenas, Sergio Cardenas, Salvador Cardenas, Gloria Cardenas, Marta Cardenas, Norma Cardenas, Christina Cardenas, Anjelica Cardenas and Griselda Cardenas.
