He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Rita Flores and Jesus Gonzalez; his wife Angelita Medina Gonzalez of Port Arthur, Texas; his children, Juan Gonzalez (Patricia Rodriguez) of Port Arthur, Carlos Gonzalez (Blanca Morales) of Port Arthur, Dolores Gonzalez (Antonio Recendiz) of Port Arthur, Maribel Gonzalez (Gerardo Lucatero) of Merced, Javier Gonzalez (Janet Hernandez) of Atwater, Veronica Gonzalez (Miguel Galarza) of Orange and Erica Gonzalez (Otoniel Hernandez) of Port Acres; and his siblings, Elena Gonzalez of California, Maria Gonzalez of Mexico and Ricardo Gonzalez of Mexico. He was also cherished by twenty-one grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Due to COVID-19 the funeral home and family ask that everyone wear masks and practice "Social Distancing" during the visitation and Vigil Service at the funeral home.
