It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Hammond Jr. formerly of Port Arthur, Texas, who passed away on April 9, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Brenda Faye Hammond; and his brother Raymond Charles Hammond. He is survived by: his children, Julia Taylor (Darryl) of Houston, TX and James Hammond, III of Port Arthur, TX; his brothers, Tommy Lee Hammond (Delores) of Port Arthur, TX, Michael Anthony Hammond (Cheryl) of Port Arthur, TX and Steven Wayne Hammond of Houston, TX; and his grandchildren, Korey Demond Taylor and Kayla Joy Taylor of Houston, TX. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
