He was predeceased by: his parents, A. D. Bellow Sr. and Lillian Bellow of Port Arthur; his wife Betty K. Bellow; his sister Doris Crenshaw; and his stepson Paul Woodall.

He is survived by: his brother A. D. Bellow, Jr.; his grandsons, Derek Woodall (Amy) and Brandon Houston (Crissy); and his great grandchildren, Weston Woodall, Skylar Bielstein, Nicholas and Savannah Houston. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
