He is survived by: his wife Menthola Alexis; his son James Alexis, Jr. (Kieyah) of Beaumont, TX; his stepchildren, Pamela VanWright (Jeffery) and Brian Broussard of Port Arthur, TX; and his sisters, Joyce Williams, Sarah Simmons of LaMarque, TX and Shirley Willis (Terry) of Abbeville, LA. He is also survived by three grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
