She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnnie Hurts and Helen "Lucy" Jones Martin; her spouse Kerney Phillip Clay, Sr.; her son Kerry W. Clay; her brother Terry L. Jones, Sr.; her parents-in-law, Beatrice C. Hines and Wilson Clay, Sr.; her stepfather-in-law Henry Hines; and her uncles, Willie, Jones and Lawrence Jackson.
She is survived by: her children, Gregory Clay of Minneapolis, MN, Tyrone Clay of Port Arthur, TX, Kerney Clay Jr. of Phoenix, AZ and Dawn L. Clay of Port Arthur, TX; her grandchildren, Brandon, Chanel, Christopher, Debra, Anthony Clay of Minneapolis, MN, Ashley Clay, Kourtnee Sostand and Shawn Shields, Jr. of Port Arthur, TX; her great grandchildren, Jorian of Washington, Aiden Clay, Saige Johnson, Tynesha Rogers of Port Arthur, TX, Isaiah Clay, Cartier Clay, Jacelyn Clay, Liam Clay, Destionah Carter-Clay and Jeremiah Clay of Minneapolis, MN; her nephew Terry Jones, Jr.; her niece Tonya Cabarrus of Houston, TX; her aunt Mary L. Jackson of Port Arthur, TX; her cousins, Nelda Jackson, Justin Jackson, Sr., Valerie Wiltz, Elizabeth Mayfield and Annie Batiste; and her close friends, Shirley Semien, Erma Sarden, Naomi McIntosh and Israel Guidry. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
