It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hayward Johnson Jr. (Port Arthur, Texas), who passed away on October 11, 2019, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Hayward Johnson Sr. and Leana Roberts Johnson; his wife Helen Bates Johnson; and his sister Barbara Thompson. He is survived by: his children, Michael Bates of Port Arthur, Shantel Johnson of Houston, TX, Daysha Williams (Clifton) of Port Arthur and Naomi Brown (Joseph) of Bossier City, LA. He is also survived by four grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
