He was predeceased by: his parents, Dannerville Dugas and Minnie Dugas; his wife Joyce; his brother Kenneth; and his daughter Denise.

He is survived by: his sons, Dennis (Pat) and Darrell (Carolyn); his grandchildren, Donnie Dugas (Joann), Nicole Dugas, Mandy Rogers and Sunni Bishop (Jared); and his great grandchild Lola Carter.
