He was predeceased by: his parents, Roosevelt Taylor and Ida Mae Taylor; and his brother Mark Taylor. He is survived by: his children, William Babineaux, Angela Brown, Felicia Ransom (Marvin Sr.) and Marvin Dumes (Tara); his close friend Mary Lazenby; his sister Annie T. Bell; and his close friend Valerie Wiltz (Val). He is also survived by nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
