He is survived by: his mother Elena Zamora of Mexico; his wife Catalina Cardenas Hernandez of Port Arthur; his children, Mario Hernandez (Cynthia) of Port Arthur, Jose Luis Cardenas (Gabby) of Port Arthur, Laura Hernandez (Marcos) of California, Veronica Cardenas of Port Arthur, Gabriela Garin (Carlos) of Port Arthur and Rosalba Rodriguez (Fernando) of Port Arthur; and his siblings, Ramon Hernandez, Emilio Hernandez, Benjamin Hernandez, Antonio Hernandez, Gerardo Hernandez, Dolores Hernandez, Teresa Hernandez, Maria Elena Hernandez, Christiana Hernandez and Marta Hernandez. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren.
